Pp 5124
Good Day All,
Thoughts on the PP 5124? I tried one on today at my AD and I really liked it I don't like the price tag but, it is a Patek Might have to put in a lot of OT to pay that bill Anyone got one? I think it would be a great for work meetings. Thanks, Eric |

its an absolutely awesome watch and you cannot compare it to the rolex prince they are not in the same league. The way a patek feels on your wrist is special that no other brand can replicate go for it its prob one of those watches you will never be able to part with once you have it

Eric: See if you can find one used. The Gondolo is less popular than most so you should be able to find an aggressively priced one. I like the 5124G.
As Thomas said, the 5712 isn't a bad alternative - if a little pricier. |

Speaking of Gondolo's, it looks like Patek has discontinued 5489, my favorite art deco watch. Can't say I was in the market of buying one, but sad to see it go none the less. Absolutly stunning in person.

I was about to say I agree with Thomas but then I saw your pictures. Although I prefer the dial of the Prince I must say I think the Patek fits you much better!

I love Patek but can't seem to warm up to the Gondolo for some reason. Seems too old man-ish to me. As for rectangular watches, I prefer a few of the new thin Reversos.
BTW, I love the vintage Princes but that new one hurts my eyes. |

Seriously? It's only about 3k more than the Calatrava I tried in Switzerland and let me tell you, it's much bigger and looks more special (to me at least)!
