The 318 is a boutique only model (NYC) and it's effectively a 000 with a pretty caseback. One unlucky owner had the pleasure of discovering a very poorly finished movement when having the case opened that was an embarrassment to the owner and to Officine Panerai. I believe Panerai rectified the issue, but who knows how many other movements left their manufacturing facility this way.
