If you want a good laugh, look at what they list as the "retail prices" on some of the watches!

Please visit timeandgems.us as these guys are a FRAUD, SCAM, FAKE and whatever other name you would like to come up with. They operate under various names (ie ZP Watches, The Watch Empire)
The watch bands are 10k gold plated so please educate yourself before dealing with them. They were banned from ebay for awhile but it seems they are back on by purchasing another account. IF you have have purchased a 'gold' watch from them please have it checked for authenticity and if its custom, you owe yourself the favor of knowing if its 10k plated or not. Majority of credit card companies offer pay-back options if you have been scammed. STAY away from Time & Gems, ZP Watches, The Watch Empire!! Visit timeandgems.us to read of all the stories and reviews! |

PayPal is absurd in more or less every situations. After spending a good deal with them a month with them for several months, linking my bank account, doing all their confirmation dances, and never having an issue I randomly got a pop up telling me that any money I had incoming would be held for 21 days. I have never received money or withdrawn money from the account. It was like a pre-emptive f**k you or something of that sort. It's not a pretty business due to the admittedly high potential for fraud but their response, to act like the mob, is not the right one. |

You may have misunderstood the context of my post. I wasn't suggesting anyone use PayPal as a bank for holding funds. Many of the high value deals I did went through for buyers who did have balances from their own selling activity.
For example one would be selling a couple of race cars for five figures to fund buying a Featherlite from me. Some watch sellers have a similar monthly turnover in PayPal and use it to buy other pieces.

Since the 9th of January. He said he would update when he had the watch and had it checked. I can only guess that hasn't happened yet, but still, it does seem like we should have heard something by now.

Wish I had checked earlier
Ordered a watch ten days ago - had it for 2 hours and wanted to send it back.
Note: Anywhere on their site they say "custom" means cheapest replacement that will look half close to the original. Also called "conversion" which means that the item is "custom" Elsewhere on site states that all modifications meet or exceed manufacturers original. Asked if "custom" included the chinese roled bracelets that actually have the name and logo on them. Pretty silly to use a custom bracelet that is trademarked and not be expecting buyers to "believe" it original or at least Rolex replacement. Would hope that any custom parts would not be forgeries - but ? They use "acrylic" rather than glass, the bezels are all gold plated and I would bet not close to 10K - bet they are not even gold. SO::: Called - they do say 3 days return - no questions BUT it can't be according to them anything related to their custom parts, even if you can prove they aren't custom they are fraudulent. What they do now is charge a 20% restocking fee for all the had work they did packing it up and sending it off with UPS. I had it out of the package for 2 hours - out of the US for 2 days and back in their store in 5 - still 20% - and - IT Does say that on their site but its all spread around. They have all sorts of BBB / security sites etc and by the way the crew that sends the appraisals either doesnt even exist or is in with them Stay as far away as possible - I am going to wait till my 80% gets back on my credit care and then file a chargeback request to Mastercard and see if I can also get them removed as Merchants. Credit card companies got lots of money but don't like getting bad press or names. Perhaps if I link to enough negative sites and their history with E-bay . IN any event there are some really great sellers out there - just be careful and if you do not know yourself what "real" looks like don't even think about evaluating "custom' |
