Gotta love the fall, leaves turning colour... nice 'jacket' weather...

I checked the thermometer this morning and the temp was -10C and the wind was howling, so I don't know what the wind chill was... probably -15C or so.

Also, in the next 24 hours we're supposed to get a maximum of 25cm of snow.

Yep, got to love the autumn. In Toronto we never got a significant (i.e. it stayed on the ground) until Christmas or so.

I may have to fire up the old snowblower tomorrow (and I'm actually excited to use it!).

Wow good luck with all that snow. We had some last night but not much to complain about.

I love fall too I think its the most beautiful season IMO.

Fall is actually my least favourite season because everything is dying. Once the leaves are gone, everything is grey and drab... and there ain't much sunshine.

But I love the other three seasons equally!

Well when you put it that way then it does sound bad. But I love the colors of the leaves.

Yes as they say John winter draws on,they have forecast snow for my area on Friday, think its going to be a hard winter this year.

Peter, all the weather experts are saying we're in for more extremes in weather, thanks to global warming. Hotter summers and colder winters, which just means eating up more energy for heat and air conditioning.

Look at the Caribbean this year... record setting number of hurricanes and also record setting in their severity.

We have some snow on the ground this morning, but the roads are clear at least. We are apparently in for quite an evening, with a big band of snow squalls coming off Lake Huron and reaching down to my area. Of course, this is one of the rare week nights when I'm supposed to actually go out....

Good thing we put the snow tires on last week!
