A couple of questions about servicing in the UK

I have a couple of questions about servicing in the UK. Firstly, has anyone recently had an Oysterquartz Day-Date serviced, and if so, how much did it cost ?

Secondly, if you instruct Rolex not to touch any cosmetic aspects of a watch (e.g. not to re-finish the case and bracelet, or replace the hands, etc), does this affect the cost of the service at all ?
