had a chance to digest a bit.....

* S-D....
- awesome movement
- lackluster design (romans, especially, and cyclops over ring, especially especially)
- HORRIBLE and ill-fitting name - name this a "DateJust Calendar" or something, and then come out next year with a ceramic-bezeled model with a couple of other sport touches and call THAT one a "sky-dweller"

* new ND......what we expected, but, looks good.

* DJII smooth.....liking the new silver dial and the black dial looks clean, sporty, classy.

* new YM.....nice update.

* blue YM......i dunno...something about the wide platinum bezel and dark blue dial throws me, but, this could be good in person. like the red touches. the blue dial seems to shimmer like the hulk's dial, and, well, if that's the case, i will like it.

* bling......okay, i get it, there's a market for blingtastic rolexes....i just don't get putting colorful stones at the 6 and 9 markers of a date dial....really looks out of balance.

* daytona......not at all my taste, but, the rainbox of colors is pretty interesting, in a way.

I was really hoping for a dome crystal on the ND Sub, it does look fantastic though.

The blue YM is just stunning.

I am just happy they did not butcher the SS & TT Daytona with a ceramic bezel. Lets just say that rainbow bezel is not for everyone, but neither was the leopard crap. There will be a select few sold, so it shouldnt be a big deal.

I am sorry but I am shocked at the haters on here. The SkyDweller not only looks amazing but the functions it has are so unique that I would think this forum would be going nuts to own one already.
Congrats to Rolex for creating another gem of a product!

These 'blingy' jewelled and leopard watches, to me suggest that Rolex are assuming a fair proportion of it's market are wealthy 'Chavs' (UK term, meaning people with no class at all). Where are the ceramic Daytonas on bracelets or two tone etc??

The blue Yachtmaster is stunning. I sort of like the flat bezel on the Date Just II as well. Otherwise, not particularly enthused about any of the new watches.

Thanks for the pix Puffy!

Guys any idea if the sky dweller caliber 9001 has a ball bearing rotor like the 4130 or a pivot rotor like 3135?

I'm kinda' likin' the Skydweller. I couldn't stand it when I first saw it this morning, but now . . . I 'm not so sure.

The ND Sub is the watch I have been waiting for. I know I am in the small minority who don't like the cyclops, don't need a date, and prefer brushed steel bands. Love the update!

Blue Yachtmaster is very nice.

I guess it was inevitable with the demise of the oyster cased submariners.
