Rolex is now firmly grounded in the 21st Century, but still inspired by traditional horology and its storied past.

This certainly makes me appreciate my little collection even more.

Rolex is cutting the link to its past. First the GMT and now sub ND.

Oh we were talking about lug holes. Sorry, for me the new case designs and ceramics are a bigger concern than lugholes.

Well said. Personally I'm very happy with the new ceramic models.

Unfortunately that's how it goes. I mean the 63 split window Corvette was an amazing model in its day but there is nothing wrong with new and improved. You can always buy vintage if you so desire.

I'm really happy that I got my ND in December! I imagine they're going to be a hot commodity now which usually comes with high prices!

Five years from now, a new cohort of buyers will look at those of us who wear a 14060M or a 114270 and think that we are hopelessly trapped in a cheap and inferior past.

Rolex has been around long enough to know that changes will upset the aging traditionalists, but the future is with the young looking for something fresh.

Rolex has managed to keep the lineup within that balance for a long time.

I've got mine, let the young drive the market now.

HI Bob, have to disagree>>.

love the new ceramic models: GMT, Sub and ND Sub.

I have one watch on the way currently, but after that, I'm pretty tempted by the new Sub C. that thing rocks.

Love the new bracelet and maxi case. I think it's a good thing as Rolex is evolving.

Hope your doing well Bob.

I have to ask, what is the deal with the lug holes and why do they make such a difference?

I must say I am a bit of a lug hole fan and for those of us who can't live without them, well there is always the D.I.Y. route
