Question...with the end of the 14060 Sub

Does this mean that the 4 Line COSC Sub ND will increase in value with the birth of the new ceramic model. Im just curious, as I purchased my not but a few weeks ago. Does it meann it would stay somewhere around the initial MSRP, rocket above that, as its discontinued -or show a significant decrease.

I love my watch, and didnt necessarily buy it as an investment, I just always wanted a Sub. That said, (God forbid) if ever I was in a position where it had to be sold - I wonder what the position will be.

Forgive me if this has been asked before, I couldnt find an answer to the question.

I had a response from my AD re the new model and he had real price or time frame as yet. Im torn but my grail watch aside from the Sub has to be the DSSD, I remember its launch and loved it from then. Im looking forward to being in a position to own my current Sub and the DSSD.

Cheers guys. Have a great weekend...

No, it does not mean that at all.. Except, perhaps, on the Internet, which thrives on instant "collectible" status, or whatever the market will bear..

It takes decades for a watch to become valuable based on a font difference if it ever does at all, especially when so many modern references are being made..

Ask again in a decade or two..

Tools is correct, of course, and except for the opportunists who will gouge the naive, it will take a generation before the market has spoken as to which watches will be the most desired, at least by my observation.

However, in my own opinion, my randomly-numbered, 14060M with the purported blue Parachrom hairspring (I haven't opened mine to take a look, yet) is a very special watch.

There may be no objective basis for that feeling, but that's the way I feel and that's good enough for me.

I'm not selling it, anyway.
