For all the LEOs and FF/Medics on TRF
A friend of mine I went though fire academy with answered The Last Alarm a week or so ago. He was a good man, a great guy. And he died doing what he loved. I don't think he would have wished it any other way. He is not the first friend of mine or former co-worker who went on scene and never came home. I had the incredible honor of carrying a badge, as both a member of law enforcement and also fire/EMS for a decade.
For everyone out there on TRF who has ever carried the tin (or stayed up worrying about those of us who do), THANK YOU. "Let's be careful out there" |

Thanks for reminding of us of those who serve and put themselves in harm's way for us. Sorry for the loss.

Sorry for your loss, I am grateful for all the heroes like your friend and yourself who risk their lives to save ours everyday. My thoughts are with his family.

Hero is the last thing I ever was. I was just lucky enough to have the job.

We must always keep in our hearts and prayers those who made the ultimate sacrifice
Here are a few websites, where you can read about those who have died in the line of duty:
http://www.odmp.org/ http://www.nleomf.org/ There are many other regional sites and memorials, but these two are a good start if you would like to read about and remember these fine individuals!

Those who serve deserve more thanks than we can possibly ever give them.
