Ducati Day in SA.

Ducati Day at Glenelg.
The weather was perfect so I rode down and J met me there.

I took JJ's SD out for the day.

Beautiful day, lunch and bikes.

Some pix.

Used to have a silver and blue 900 SS , now it`s a 999 but I`d gladly trade the new for the old even though the new bike is scary fast the old one sounded way better!

Fantastic Eddie looks like a great day..reminds of my 750 SuperSport.... Never should have sold it back in 1982...

Btw, looks like it will need to be renamed next year...

Price is only $1billion... Maybe we could form a TRF syndicate and buy it ourselves... Let's see, 50,000 TRF members, works out about $...

Nice photos. Post more if you have them. I miss my 1999 Ducati ST2. It was great fun to ride, but it was a bit of a pain to maintain.

Very Nice Eddie, here's my first bike, passed only a few months ago. Pretty sure gonna be Ducati man myself. Next wanna get a streetfighter 848. Now I see where they styled their paul smart sport classic.

Thanks JB but I can't take all the credit.
I have a few digital cameras.
My favourites are my Sony N1 and N2,
This pix was taken with my N1.
2nd pix is cropped.

These cameras make it easy.

Thanks for posting new photos. For some reason, I remain a fan of the 916 and think it's probably one of the nicest bikes Ducati has ever produced.

I had two 916 SP's. A 1994 SP1 and a 1997 SP3. They were the fastest 'production?' sports bike at that time with a 0 - 60 of 2.6 seconds if you could keep the front wheel down. My current 1098 is almost as quick and is a lot more comfortable to ride (when you are approaching your mid 60's).

Hang on I'll find a pix.

I found some scanned photographs of some of my toys from years ago.

I think some of you will enjoy these.

Eddie the digital cameras sure do help, however, the subject in the picture is awesome two!

Very nice pictures Eddie! Looks like you had a great day with your wife.

By the way, that Ferrari looks amazing! Not that I'm an expert but I love the looks of older models!

Great photos. Thanks for posting. The 851 is very nice also.

My 99 ST2 had Sil Motor carbon fiber slip-ons, and the sound from the V-Twin through those pipes was unforgettable and unmistakeable. I can hear a Duc coming from 1/4 mile away.

Speaking of Glenelg...
