Original Box question

I bought a preowned Rolex recently and the box it came in has me puzzled. The boxes are orginial but the presentation case (green leather clamshell box) is not "fitted" into the Rolex cardboard box. There is a gap of almost 3/16inches all around it. I have handled 4 other preowned rolexes and thier boxes were tight to thier presentation case. I have questioned the seller and they say that is the way they come sometimes, I rebuffed and now they are trying to find another box set for me but said it could take a couple of weeks.

Am I correct? It should be a better fit, correct? Or are some like this one have a space?

Thanks in advance for the knowledge.

Chris

Rolex has 3 different size boxes. Looks like you got 2 different sizes. The cardboard out her shell is junk anyway. They are just boxes. Enjoy the watch.
