Icon7 My current collection (pics)

So I finally went out and got a new point and shoot camera. These pics are still lousy compared to some I've seen here, but they are a big improvement over the iphone pics I normally post here.

Missing is my SS GMT2c that was stolen a few weeks ago, but I believe this is the first time I've had all my Rolexes in the same place. So naturally it was time to take some pictures.

This datejust is my first Rolex...

Thanks for looking.

Stunning watches Chris and I guess you forgot to mention that this is your current Rolex collection as I'm sure you have few other brands here and there

Thanks Sam. It is a bummer about the 116670, but fortunately it was insured, but the police made no progress with their investigation. I will be replacing it shortly.

Nice collection Chris!

I will be down in Orlando the 22nd - 27th. When you get back from Vegas, let's get together again.

Thanks, I believe a few of these came from you.

I do have a "non" collection as well, but I dont think that there is sufficient interest here.

I got the sh1t kicked out of me/mugged a few weeks ago in Tampa. Ironically enough I was wearing my AP that day, but since it wasnt insured yet (I just bought it) I switched to the GMT when I left my place that night.

Very impressive. How long did it take you to build such a great collection? Also can you share the story about the GMT2 C SS ?

Thanks everyone!

I bought the datejust about ten years ago and have been building the rolex collection ever since. There have been a couple of watches that I've flipped along the way, but generally I'm a hoarder.

Like I said earlier, I had the gmt stolen from me. I ran out to CVS near my apt at night, and on the walk home, three guys got behind me and threw me on the curb. They then started kicking me till I threw my wallet at them. They stopped and also took my gmt and cell phone. This was two blocks from my apt. I walked to the central police station (6 blocks from my apt) and filed a report and got my injuries treated. Unfortunately, the police has found nothing on any security cameras. I got my report and filed my claim with the ins co. I had some serious bruises and couldnt hear out of my right ear for a few days, but in the grand scheme of things, I am incredibly lucky. It happened on the last night that I lived in a place that has brought me nothing but misery. I know people love Tampa but getting out of there was the best thing I ever did in my life.
