It's evident here that there is a pattern on this thread. Most UK residents would take the 0%, whereas the US crowd would prefer to pay cash.

True to a certain extent and I wouldn't argue with that.

The US buying power however is mega - The dollar is used in the most amount of transactions worldwide. Naturally anything that happens with the economy over there will affect us, as well as everyone else.

Anyway's like I said, just a thought...

I was talking more about the trading of worthless mortgages bundled up and coated in AAA rated ones.......no one cared to unravel the bundles to see what they were buying and selling, a bit like having a box of replica rolexes with a few on top so as when the box is opened it appears to be healthy. Any normal person would empty the box and check the lot.
