Will AD brush the polished center links?

Will an AD brush out the newer polished center links?

AD might do it but RSC won't.

I suppose only the surface parts of the polished links will be brushed but some of the harder to reach areas will remain polished and it might be visible?

Thanks and I'll call them.

Why? The PCL's look good on the watch IMO. What watch are you trying to do this on?

Search the forum for some very successful brush jobs (especially for the GMTIIc).

A possible GMT Master II I saw available. The polished surfaces scratch easy and are too flashy, and to me look a bit cheap when on the wrist

From what I have seen on the forum, the scotch brite pad method leaves a very coarse lines. Not like the original. And you have to be really really good at keeping the pads straight!

So on second thought. I might just look for another watch.

Thanks.

Make sure your AD has a good tech and it will not be a problem, I agree with you on the PCL's, way to much IMO..........

X2. Easy to have done. Most ads would do it. I'd just make sure I trust them. It's really not hard to do. About like cooking a hotdog, pretty hard to screw it up. LOL. On the GMTII I really like the PCLs. Yea they scratch some but easy to remove hairline scratches.

If Rolex finds out, the AD is in trouble; several ADs have mentioned that Rolex very greatly discourages them from doing so, considering it "damaging" your purchase.

My GMT was brushed by a Rolex authorized watchmaker.

Thanks.
Does scotchbrite pad leave coarse lines? I suppose so huh? But one thing I'm pretty sure of is that with a scotchbrite, there will be parts of the PCL bracelet that would be inaccessible with a scotchbrite therefore you will leave some 'shiny' surfaces. That or I would send it to a watch maker.
