Ok, so what do you collect besides watches?

Just curious what some of you collect aside from the obvious.

Pics are most welcome too.

To get the ball rolling, here's a great find from eBay a few years back, paid half what it's worth. :)

(#2 Avengers in near mint cond.)

Approx. 800,000 year old hand axe, from the Sahara, made and likely used by Homo Erectus.

T-Rex tooth (Carcharodontosaurus)

Black pearl and Damascus auto, handmade.

400 million year old trilobite plate

8-10 million year old giant Megalodon shark tooth

I could do this all night, that's why my wife hates me.

So let's see your stuff!

Labrador retriever puppies. I just got two. One yellow male born in Feb. 2012. He's an English/American and a black female lab, born in Jan 2012, full English. Had them out in the water today and they loved it.

I don't have any pictures right now but I collect guitars, older Canadian coins (nothing very fancy though, my oldest one is from 1928 I believe. ) and jewelry.

Ok, here's a picture of me and my new pups. The yellow male is named Quincy Meijer and the female black is Zoe. Hopefully, they will both be good field, bird, duck and house dogs!

This may sound corny but I collect Ralph Lauren Autographs ,and the whole wardrobe is Ralph, socks, belts, shirts, jeans, hats. Most of the stuff I don't even wear. Ralph is much more of an affordable sickness than Rolex.

Uh oh... since you asked....

Fiesta dishware, Roseville Pottery from the 1930s and '40s, vintage lighting fixtures/lamps, Porcelier teapots, vintage restaurant cups/saucers, vintage paintings and prints...

Husband collects old military radios, guitars, old neon advertising clocks, flashlights, vintage taxidermy, soldering irons, old US-made tools, and probably a dozen other things I'm forgetting to mention.

The difference between our collecting is that I generally stop once my designated display areas are full....

Dan, I love seeing those. That red Deco one looks so comfy! Do you actually use them like chairs, for reading and such? Or is it more of a "display only" thing?

Do you still have that slip shade hanging fixture? I remember how totally cool that was.

Thanks, Lisa!
Yes, all the chairs are in the "jungle room", are fully functional, and quite comfortable too.
I don't have a pic of the deco fixture over the dining room table on my iPad but will try to get it tomorrow for you, sorry.
