That chart is based on serial numbers that start with a letter and are followed by six digits (all numbers). Those are the old serial # sequencing. The OP mentioned that the watch in question had a serial # that started with X and was followed by seven digits (numbers or letters) serial # totalling eight digits. This watch is one of he new serial number sequencing which have a total of eight digits (numbers or letters) jumbled together with no specific pattern that we are aware of. New serial sequencing can start with either a number or letter, but will contain a total of eight numbers and or digits.
