Clash of the Titans Poll

At first sight, they are similar watches. Yet they each have enthusiastic fans devoted to one or the other. So what say you: considering any references, current or vintage, and any metal, what is your favorite -- a Submariner or a GMT?

I have to go with the sub, it's my first Rolex. But......a GMT is next on my list.

I'm going to guess 2:1 in the Sub's favor but my vote is GMT.

GMT gets my vote ... Having 2 GMTs (16700 and 16710) and a Sub-C.

The Coke GMT rocks! Rolex needs to bring that back. One of the coolest watches ever.

Having both I'd pick the SubC over the GMTIIC.

Everyone here always say Sub. The GMT is a much cooler watch.
The Sub isn't even the best dive watch offered by Rolex.
That would be the SD or Deep Sea IMHO.

GMT. I first learned about Rolex when my father bought a GMT Master about 30 years ago. It has a special meaning to me.

I've got the Sub and just got the bug for a GMT. Right now I'd probably vote for the GMT, but that's just because that's what I'm focused on while I'm wearing my Sub.

Sub is my first choice but I wouldn't turn down a GMT either.
