What's less self conscious, an Americas Cup special award when you weren't on the boat, or a beautiful classy gold DD that you earned by hard work?

I have narrowed it down;

Option 1: TT 16753 on oyster bracelet ( maybe the jubilee is more formal??)
Option 2 : SS 16750 with fade Pepsi bezel and 18k Omega pie pan for tuxedo

In that case, Option 1

I'd go with the two tone GMT on oyster or jubilee bracelet with a slight preference for the oyster. Good for formal and casual I would have thought.

Normally not a two tone fan, but works really well on the GMT and it's the ideal watch for travel.

Well this is a sporting event and I consider the DD to be more dress than sport watch (I know, I know....). That being the case I am going to tak wine of my two tone GMT's but I have not decided which one.... It has to be sporting enough for the Yacht Club /waterfront and also with a tuxedo on Friday night.....

1675/3 on a two tone jubilee bracelet
16753 on a two tone oyster bracelet

Thoughts?

Thanks!

So......considering what you are doing on this trip..........have you picked up a nice YM yet? If not, any of your great looking watches will fill the bill, I'm sure! Enjoy the festivities!

you know me too well. I am going to go with the 1675/3 on a Jubilee.

You are always a source of great advice here on TRF. Btw....I'm sorry you did not make the Los Angeles GTG last month.

I'm sorry to report that the YachtMaster and YachtMaster II are not very popular with the "sailboat racing" crowd.
