Ym gets my vote... Next years Basel should have an "updated" Daytona for its anniversary. Save for the new Daytona!

I like the YM more but that's me. Maybe if there is an upgrade to the Daytona next year I'll like that more. For now YM gets my vote.

At the end of the day it all comes down to whatever feels right on you but I'd have to say YM... The blue is just amazing

Bought a Daytona SS Black Dial a couple weeks ago. Loving it. The YM is not for me.

That said, whatever looks best to you on your own wrist :-)

Sorry guys but the bezel on that YM will always reminds me of an old 1990s tag one of our car mechanics used to where that worked for us
The Daytona is on a whole different level, its silly to even compare the two

DO you need the timer function?

IF not, go with YM ... A large percentage of buyers get the timer function, and rarely use it..

Was in a kind of similar dilemma about a month and half ago.

The YM never inspired me, so I went with the TT Daytona blue dial and Arabic - a very nice combo actually.

The Daytona is such a legendary watch, however what matters above anything else is what you like and prefer. Both models are very nice.

The only problem with the Daytona is that you have to order it and it won't arrive before a year or so =\

I'm debating between the new YM (plat though) vs SS Daytona White also.

I think I personally like the look of the YM, that it has a date, and the fact that the new one will have a solid platinum bezel.

I'm however intrigued by the past and current exclusivity of the SS Daytona.

Perhaps I'll own both in the future years, but which first? Undecided on my choice yet.
