With or without is fine with me.

I prefer the look of watches without the date. It's a useful feature but I've never seen a watch with a date where I thought it improved the look of the watch.

On a dress watch, "no date" is mandatory for me, and I don't even like a second hand. On my daily watch, the date is a very useful function.

ok for me on some days so works if watch is in rotation. I wear my YMII and daytona on days when the date just doesnt matter! ie I'm at the race track or vaction (same thing)

No date needed for me. I prefer the symmetry of a watch with no date.

Dateless watches don't bother me at all. If I grab a watch with date out of collection for some wrist time, I don't even bother to set it to the right date either.
