Tips and thing to check

May I ask to the expert what are the details to watch and some tips to spot a fake watch?

To avoid a newbie, like me, to be scammed?

Thanks

The biggest piece of advice is to buy the seller. If for any reason you feel uncomfortable, walk away from the deal. Remember there are tons of rolexes out there and unless you're looking for a rare vintage piece, you'll find another.
There are plenty of trusted sellers here you can contact.
Also, if you find a watch on your own take a bunch of pics and post them here (before you buy) in the watch out section and ask for advice. There are very knowledgable members here that will help you out.
Enjoy the journey!

I think the best advice for you is to buy from your father who's in the business.

If you're new to the brand, buy at the authorized dealer. It's very simple.

If you really want to buy a Rolex, I suggest buying from an AD, or one of the trusted sellers here on the forum. That is the absolute safest way, IMO.
