It trully depends on the individual in the end. If you have to ask it's probably not the right thing for you. If it were you wouldn't have any doubts.
Me, I still like more than just one watch.

I would suspect for most who have multiple watches (4 or 5+), the transition to 1 grail would not last for very long... I have the watches I have for a few reasons:
- I like variety - I need watches for various situations (work optics, formal dress, boating/diving, weekend, etc) - Significant personal meaning (these would never be traded) I have often considered trading a few of mine in for a significant upgrade, where I would go from 9 to 5 or so, but have another really significant piece (or 'grail'). The challenge I am always faced with is which piece to get: YG YMII? RG DDII? AP ROO? ALS Lange 1? hence my problem. Even if I do make the move, I know I would end up back wanting/trying to buy the others on the list due to the reasons listed above, and in the process would spend a large chunk of cash to get there. This is why I am where I am today - content with my collection, but always striving to move to the next step. The harder I work, and more I am able to achieve, I will start the upgrade process - not by trading in 2 or 3 watches on one, but by replacing one of my current with one from my wish-list, and keeping my variety, my needs filled, and most importantly keeping the little bit of motivation that that next piece provides. |

I don't think I can only just wear one watch. My grail is PP 5207 but that is not a watch I would wear everyday. I could however, cut it down to 2-3 watches.
Wear 218206 for normal days, and 5207 for special occasions. I need a sporty watch though, maybe the smurf. |

I used to think i can b a one watch person. In the end, gave up n never looked back. For some reason, a grail doesnt remain a grail for long once acquired. At least for me.

If you sold all your watches for your grail watch, would you wear it all the time? If yes, you'll soon find yourself another watch to drool over, to become a grail watch, and so the cycle begins again!
