Icon7 Panerai at Costco

I went to a new Costco that just opened yesterday and saw these in the watch display case. They also had a couple of JLC. First time I have seen a Pam at Costco though.
Do they sell Pams at your Costco?

The 384 goes for $402,999 or in USD about $13,433
I see the Panerai 2012 price lists the 384 for $15.900

That seems like a nice discount.

We have some tags and a couple of breitling at my local uk branch but prices are not good enough. Cheaper at ad as you will always get discount on the models they have!!!

Oh, yes. Thanks for the info Tony, Here is an article about that practice of US companies buying gray market merch and selling in US.

Maybe because it was Houston. Houston must have a lot of cash.

They had a few other fashion brands like Chanel and Bulgari and Cartier, and they might have had an AP. I'll check next time.

Whoa. I am surprised. More so because this seems to be commonly accepted instead of shocking news. Has Costco become an AD for these watch brands? Costco is known for selling brand name and own label products at highly competitive (discount) prices. Wouldn't a prestige brand suffer? Sic transit gloria Tiffany's?

Well, I was a bit shocked so I posted the thread. I had thought they only had some cheaper brands but was surprised to see Pams and JLC as well.

See Aboen below your post. His links are informative. The picture of the Patek Philippe says it all. Remove the elegant watch from the aura and ambience of a boutique and what have you got--an incomprehensible price tag on a shiny metal object. This cannot be good for luxury brands.

I saw a PAM104 at a Costco over here in the UK earlier this year.

Was priced at £500 under the guide retail price at the time.

Livermore has grown a lot in the past decade. The Costco near me is supposed to be small so it might not have such an impressive array. But now am curious. Wonder if I can sneak in.
