Well said Duy, one can also purchase a Coke insert to have the best of both worlds!

At work, what Rolex wouldn't work with a suit. But, I work in Silicon Valley, so I don't see suits too often - but I do see a lot of pricey watches :)

I wouldn't worry about it at all. I would enjoy the Pepsi to the max!

I'd wear the black insert with a suit over a Pepsi.

Whatever watch you wear with whatever clothes you wear is your choice and I wouldn't care what others think.

With that said, I wear my 1675 with suits and tee shirts. Any Rolex looks fine with any set of clothes.

I wouldnt usually say any rolex is too casual for a suit... However, for some reason, I would imagine the pepsi might be abit too casual for a suit..

Not too casual at all. It makes a bold statement in my view.

This watch was designed for Pan American World Airways pilots to wear. Back then, as now, professional airline pilots wore a suit uniform with tie. So, why wouldn't it be appropriate with a suit, minus the pilots wings!

I prefer the black insert for the office setting, but I think any watch that fits under your cuff fine, except in the the most old school offices.

'too casual' for whom? Unless you work at Buckingham Palace - and even that's debatable - I reckon it will be just fine

I am so far removed from being fashionable, I could wear a 50mm Mickey Mouse watch and it would look absolutely fine with my dressiest attire. :) Honestly, I can say with absolute certainty, in my lifetime, I will never spend a second wondering if any watch I have goes with any of the clothes I wear. It will just not ever happen to me. :)

I sometimes wish I cared about fashion, but I just don't. Much more interested in sheer comfort. Fashion, don't care, nice watch, yes, I do. :)

With a suit, I think the coke bezel insert would be okay. The black insert would be best when wearing a suit. My 2c.

I've worn a Timex Ironman with a suit...
I think that it all depends on personal style and confience in terms of whether you can pull anything off fashionwise.

Wear what you want. If you carry it off well there'll be no need to worry about the style police.

I did my quarterly presentation to our board of directors last month. Happened to notice that one of the board members was wearing a SS pepsi GMT with a jubilee band. It looked just as appropriate as my TT DJ did in that meeting. I think it is more a matter of how well you dress around it. The BOD member is a very refined older gentleman who dresses very sharply.

It changed my opinion of the "tool" watch with regard "dress" occasions. Then again, I have worn an all SS Tag Chrono with a black or gray suit for years and it always looks sharp.

Amazing pics George! That blue leather strap is something else.

I believe a Pepsi is just fine with a suit. I would not compromise and go for a black bezel. Black GMT'a just don't look right to me. The Pepsi is THE classic bezel.
