Winder recommendations....?

I don't care much for watch winders... imho, if you don't have a watch with many complications, there's really no need for a winder. Just wind the watch, set the time (and date if it has a date feature) and you're ready to go...

Wind those watches sitting idle in the safe say once a month just to keep the oils going (and even that is not THAT important anymore since modern synthetic oils don't congeal as quickly and the old mineral ones did)..

Also, imho you often pay way to much for winders that are basically just cheap Chinese mechanism in an expensive box.

i use Underwood

you can programme how many revs/hour/day

best of all they make no noise whatsoever, and you can put a battery in each compartment and take them with you when you go travelling

I just got an Underwood and they are extremely quiet. Mine is a trio with he travel case and i am very happy with the purchase. My only complaint would be my wife's watch does not fit on the winder as her wrist size is so small. I have to leave the clasp open so it slides around a little.
