Consolidating to 1

OK, so over the last few months I have flipped more watches than I care to admit. And I see nothing to stop me from continuing on with this trend that I enjoy, but ultimately lose a lot of money on.

I do see this as a hobby, and hobbies cost money. I turned my other hobby into a business, so that is no longer fun. So I can justify the loss of funds through the fact that all hobbies cost money.

That said, I have always really just been looking for the one perfect everyday watch. I have searched high and low. I even convinced myself that I needed many to change up when I got bored with one (this might actually be true).

Owning nearly the entire line of new Rolex's I can say that they are all awesome watches. There is truly something for everyone.

While thinking about halting my habit for a bit, I was trying to determine exactly which watch was the best fit for my everyday piece. A watch that fit every avenue of my life. Work, sport, leisure etc....

So.....I sold them all to the legend, DavidSW, and purchased from him, the watch that I hope will at least hold me for a decent while. I figure the watch that fits just about every bill is the GMT IIC. I always regretted flipping it the first time and I am hoping that this watch and a little bit of self control will help me to stop the bleeding, enjoy this everyday wonder, and just be at peace with my love for watches.

I will continue my learning and my appreciation for this fine brand, but it is time to lay low. Wish me luck (or make fun of me, either one is applicable).
