Service turn-around times?

Hi all,
Just dropped off my TT Sub for a service today.

RSC in Melbourne is quoting 8 to 10 weeks to return it to me...

Are service times usually this long?

Cheers,

Ian

8 weeks I think is pretty standard these days ... I see you have several Rolex's so it's not like you'll be doing without during those 2 months .... :-)

Well its how busy they are and yes that seems to around the norm for full RSC service today. You must remember Rolex at one time quoted it takes 12 months to make a Rolex oyster watch so a few weeks to service one is not all that bad.

Thanks guys, they stated that a few months back they were out to 16 weeks.. So 8 to 10 wasn't too bad...

But was interested as to how this compares internationally...
