Both great watches. I voted Pepsi because I actually prefer the newer Subs.

Tough decision. If you travel a lot, go with gmt. If not, go with sub.

If I had to choose one it would be the classic 16610 sub. I love that watch..

GMT if you travel. Sub if you dive or sail. Easy.

I'd buy the GMT, if I needed a GMT, and I'd buy the Sub, if multiple time zones were unnecessary.

Get the GMT2. If you want a diver, I'd hunt down a Sea Dweller or a two line no date sub.

Voted the sub because I own one.
But to be honest, it is 50%/50%

Sub: 16610 was my first Rolex and still my favorite

I've added a few more to my stable, but it's still my favorite.

best,
Frank

I originally felt the same way. I wore my GMT2 with a black bezel for around 10 years. At some point, you look into your watch box and see 10 black bezel/dial watches, and it's nice to have a change. I wouldn't choose a Pepsi GMT2 as my first watch, but it's nice to have something different every so often.
