Ok so I just got my SUBC from DavidSW, thing is beautiful but now I need to size it.
I went over to our wonderful reference library where I learned how to take out a link etc. (thank you tools for posting it) My main question is how to I remove the spring bar from the glidelock clasp it seems a little more complicated then my old sub. I'm having a little bit of trouble figuring out what I'm suppose to be removing so I can lay my bracelet flat and work on it.

Sorry if this is dumb it's just my first time even thinking about doing this, and I don't really feel like going to the AD to get it sized seeing as how last time I brought it there the guy destroyed one of my screws and scratched the link.

Sorry i can't help with the 116610 since I have the 16610, but congrats on the subc pick up!

You need a springbar tool. Some hare ported success with wedging a toothpick in there but it's never worked for me.

If you don't have a Bergeon 6111 or 6767, get one. It's a must have.

Not sure why you need to remove that to size it. Easy enough to remove links with just the screwdriver.

X2. Aside from cleaning, no need to remove spring bars to remove links.

Also another X2 for the spring bar touts. Must-have tool.

Yes!!! Just unscrew two screws. Take link out and put one screw back in. Very very easy!!!

Well thanks for the help, I sized it last night MYSELF haha which I am pretty proud of and ran into no issues. On another note the glidelock clasp is wonderful and I must say is an absolute joy to finally have on my wrist. Also Wasn't sure if I was going to be a big fan of the shine on the ceramic bezel, but I must say I can't stop looking at this watch on my wrist. thanks again everyone

Don't forget to buy some Loctite 222.

I had a screw slowly become undone before I applied Loctite. Since then, I've always used Loctite!

Lucky, I had to use a torch to loosen the screws on my 116520!!
