That's nuts but when you have a $40-$50K Daytona and you need this for your complete package then you pay the going rate.

It's his buddy doing the bidding. He tells him to start the bidding, then when someone else bids, his friend pushes up the bid. If his friend wins, no big deal.

that is ebay new bidding system. whenever the amount goes above certain value. it will become a***b / c***d bidder id. just to protect the bidder identity.

I was wondering why I saw some auctions with weird bidding names such as those.. Seemed really strange.

The old-style COSC paperwork has also been called the "Swiss bank note" style, and I guess it is right in this case.
