Ditto.

However, on my MacBook Pro, F5 controls the volume, so I use "Apple" + "R".

Huh?

By shutting down the Internet browser and starting it up again?

Anyway, I use the F5 pretty often, since I am also buying pipes on eBay, and since I am a "sniper" I bid in the very last seconds before end of auction (best snipe, yet: bang on time! ).

This is where the F5 button comes in handy!

Refresh button. For my own mental well being, and the sake of my future employment, I won't say how often.
