Vintage Rolex Authentication
I have found a few vintage looking Rolex watches, a mens two tone daydate, and two ladies datejust. From the pictures I've seen there is significant wear and bracelet stretch to date them as pretty old.
I am wondering when I do inspect them what should I look for to validate authenticity. The owner found them in a larger lot purchase so is unsure as well. Thanks! |

It's a FAKE without us seeing the pictures. DD comes in solid gold, platinum, or Rolesium (tri-color) metal.

Until pictures can prove me wrong...
I'm thinking this belongs here in the 'watchout' section!

All the images are worthless. The DD is fake, and that makes the others likely fakes in my book.
Meet the seller at a Rolex dealer and have them open the watches up. You won't learn enough in short order to validate them yourself.

Bad pictures almost always mean bad watches.

Theres no excuse for bad pics. It usually means the seller is trying to hide something.

Those pictures are no better than drawing a sketch.

When posting pictures just click on the paperclip above and attach them from your computer. Be sure to resize them (~900x900) so we can get an image we can see
