AP Dealer Question

I recently obtained and AP RO Safari. I am contemplating a bracelet. I live in Washington State and there are no AP dealers here. The dealers I am loyal to such as Wixon Jewelers in Minneapolis carry pretty much everything but AP. Any input into a dealer I should call to purchase some accessories would be most appreciated.

La Swiss in Vancouver is probably the closest AP if you don't mind the drive and crossing the border.

Just a question though... for AP parts such as spare bracelet or straps, are they not controlled like Rolex where they required a 1 to 1 exchange?
I mean can you just call and order what you want?
One thing about Rolex that really bugs me is the difficulty in sourcing parts.

Rolex will sell a bracelet without an exchange. AP also sells bracelets without an exchange. For Rolex parts such as cases, dials, anniversary or special inserts are sold on an exchange bases.

Yes, that is a concern I share. I expect the bracelet will substantially change the character of the watch. However, it is four screws and back on the strap. Therefore, I don't see much down side. That and I have always been a bracelet guy.

Bracelet for the ROO is not exchange only, The bracelets for the RO might be though.
