it looks OK, although the dial colours are off and not sure if due to poor pictures or is it a silver dial ...

Could be a real seller lacking in photographic skills but it`s hard to see enough detail of the watch to be sure.

Is there a chronograph hand on there? That price alone is a red flag to me.

Looks fake to me as well. But pushers on mine can be screwed in after chrono is started, or do I misunderstand?

I never use the chrono function on my Daytona.
You are right, it is possible to screw it after the chrono is started.
But how many people do that?
With fake Daytonas on Ebay at no reserve when the pics show that the chrono is on, 99.99% of the time, the watch is fake.

I use mine to time everything from boiling eggs to a thermometer in the mouth of one of my kids, and I guess I often just let it keep going but screw the push piece down.

All the Daytona Silver dials that I know about have contrasting chapter rings around the subdials. Usually black on the SS models.
