Anyone Else Love the Look of the Oysterquartz?

I absolutely love the look of the Oysterqurtz series (especially the day-date models), it reminds me of the AP Royal Oak. I just cant get myself to buy a Quartz watch! I know it sounds "snobby" but I dont want a watch that ticks ! Are any of you guys in the same boat?

Same boat as you.

That watch was a failed experiment by Rolex. It does indeed resemble an AP...but I prefer APs.

Apart from a CASIO G Shock, I have no desire to spend big bucks on a Quartz watch.

Agree on the looks. I am looking for a cheap 1630 myself, same case but with a 1570 movement inside.

However, I will probably never get one since they are not cheap...

Yeh love it, don't really think about the quartz aspect where this is concerned...do with most other watches but the oyster quartz is just special period

I like the looks, however I could not stand the non-sweeping hand on a Rolex. It would drive me bonkers and I would probably never wear it. It is the same thing the I do not like about TAG and some of those Quartz Omegas...

I personally like to have a lot of different movements in my collection and quartz watches have their deserved spot in it. I also happen to love the OQ and hope to have one someday!
