only a Doughtona!!!! Maybe a Milgasmark5 or possible a RaisinJust.

mind you...any of those would go nicely with a Pepsi, Coke or Root Beer GMT.

of course you could try find one with the Pie Pan dial too!

I don't know is this is useful at all, but I just took a bite of my muffin and chipped my tooth on a GMTII that was baked inside of it. I'm going to go ask for my money back!

I'm a chef instructor and a hotel chef.

ServeSafe isn't a governing body but one of the guidelines California county health inspectors will hold you accountable. I guarantee it's a health violation for your county.

I do wear a watch while at work but I rarely cook anymore unless it's for top hotel brass paying a visit.

I wore a 116710 for a month and had to move quickly one day through the kitchen and destroyed the crystal and ceramic bezel with a brisk encounter with the edge of a hotel pan. Aside from it being a cross-contamination risk you know there's a lot of steel just waiting to take-on your pretty watch.

I personally wouldn't especially looking back at my pastry chef days. Heck, when I was a line dog I didn't even wear a wedding ring for fear I would cook my hand in oil only to have the doc cut it off my finger.

The 116710 is a different story as the internals of the bezel work much differently than the Sub's bezel which should pop-off as flour will find its way inside. I recommend learning how with a Bergeon 4932 caseback knife and electrical tape.

If you do and manage to work clean just pocket the watch when the inspector pays a visit. If you have an health auditor like EcoSure (on top of your county inspector) then you will get raked over the coals with a major violation if they spot it.

BTW, I wear a Seiko SKX007 at work now.

Seriously enjoy your watches while you can, they are a tool like any other and made to be worn and used, when I finally gave up trying to baby my Rolex and stopped worrying about it I really started to enjoy it and no I am not a rich guy who can just replace it anytime the fancy strikes me the fact that I have a Rolex is a miracle in itself as I am a working stiff like most people but I have one and I decided to finally enjoy it and I havent looked back. I dont bang it around on purpose but I wear it and I dont sweat the small stuff anymore.
Yup
