My first Rolex comment
So today I took the train for 4 hours to help my brother in law buy a car. Once the car was test drived and the papers work was done it was time to count the cash. As I was paying the salesman, a young guy in his early 20s said "nice Yachtmaster" I know he was a watch guy as he said Yachtmaster instead of Rolex. I said thanks and asked him what he wear, he said he was not wearing anything for the moment but he was saving up for the new Omega and then I said "Omega? sorry but I dont think we can close a deal here, please get me another salesman"
hehehe, naeh but I said "Omega? why not go for a Rolex?" he said in his line of business a Rolex is too obvious. I thought to myself, what happen to the car salemans that wear a all gold DD loosely on their wrist? :) So there ya go, my first Rolex comment so far.

I would have said "Cool, Omega makes a great watch." but that's just me.

I'll get a comment now and then on mine. Most people simply don't notice or really care. I've received some comments from other Rolex owners who happen to spot mine. Sometimes a coworker who is into watches might notice it and comment. The most random place I've ever received a comment? A Wendy's restaurant... I was there enjoying my Baconator when somebody pointed out that they liked my Submariner.

I understand his point if he is selling regular marquees.
The DD wearers don't worry of they sell these
