I believe the term "grail" is over used a lot here. The fact that it is near impossible to obtain would mean that people wouldn't be getting them all the time. It's more of a casual term here. I don't really see myself getting my grail unless I do a life restructure, which is not going to happen (too many expensive hobbies).

Yes, I went through the same thing. Initially I purchased my grail thinking although I may like others, it's all I need.

Now I find myself figuring out which is my NEXT. This forum definitely doesn't help you stick with 1 watch! Good luck!

Not to quote the Godfather, but "Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in"...

It's always the same story and I tell you what, not only do I know what my next purchase will be... I also know what I'll want after that... A terrible terrible condition this...

But then, one could have more serious problems I suppose, so lucky us :)

I agree The term grail for a WIS, at least IMO, is usually interchangeable with "flavor of the month". Nothing wrong with that though

EDIT: Woohoo! Post 100!

I do not know what my grail is. What defines a grail?

Is it the price?

I would say the closest thing to a grail I got now is my Datejust, if price do not matter. The combination of bracelet, dial, bezel and date wheel is perfect. I know no better looking datejust in the world, in my opinion. I love it.
