Lincoln (movie)

Very good movie. Daniel Day Lewis makes him sound like Steve Jobs, but historians do say that Lincoln had a higher-pitched voice. We always assume he had a powerful bass voice.

I won't say any more. I don't want to spoil the ending for anyone.

Both Lincoln and Patton had hi-pitched voices, and yet they don't usually get portrayed that way.

I wanted to see Lincoln yesterday, but it was my son's birthday, so we did Skyfall. Next weekend will be Lincoln.

DDL is the man. He picks his roles very carefully.

I think we know what happens. (j/k)

Spielberg directing DDL has epic written all over it.

I have been waiting for this movie to come out.
I loved the book, Kearns Goodwin wrote a great bio on Lincoln, different than other bios I had read.
Has anyone else read it? If not, it is well written and shows how masterful Lincoln was a politician.
Cheers!

No way to ruin the ending, don't we all know a monument, a penny and a "fin" play prominent roles?
