1974 Oyster Perpetual Ref 1002 eBay

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Stunning-Men...item2ec424da98

Looking for my first Rolex and have wanted a simple vintage one for some time. Any thoughts on the one here? Does everything look ok? Seller has great (and lots) of feedback and is the eBay site for a real jeweler. Thanks in advance, its much appreciated!

way to expensive imho and that band is not original to the watch. Also the case should not be a polish finish on the lugs.

Thanks for the quick response and advice. The seller represented the band as original, so I'll be passing on things from them. If things checked out, I was not going to buy it for that price, but make an offer as most of their recent sales were make an offer with a 30% discount. What would be a fair price, if the bracelet were original?

I'm scouring through this site to get up to speed, but what is incorrect about the band for this watch?

A follow up, looking at some images on google, the only pictures I'm seeing for a ref 1002 have the Oyster band and not the Jubilee, I assume that's the issue?
