Question about Day-Date on Oyster bracelet
Hi,
Just wondering, does the Oyster bracelet that is an option for the Day-Date come with a concealed clasp similar to the President, or is it the same style of clasp as the Oyster bracelet that's offered for the Datejust series? |

Rolex's website states that the Oyster bracelet of its Day-Date model comes with a concealed crownclasp.

Yes in Yellow Gold it costs about $1600 USD to upgrade to the President bracelet which clearly is the iconic version of the DayDate.

I've always liked the Oyster better on the DD, if I ever get a chance to own one I would choose Oyster over President.

I am a huge fan of the DD with oyster also. The only (negative) thing is that gold is soft, and the oyster bracelet has a lot of plain parts (surfaces), easy to scratch. The president with "curved" links seem to resist scratches more, or at least the are not as visible. Or perhaps it is only in my imagination.

Have had the DD President bracelet and after a year of use - nothing noticed. Had a TT Daytona for 6 months and the YG centerlinks had collected many haze marks and light scratches which were much more noticeable due to the larger mirror-like surfaces.
