Tudor 7928 Submariner
I just bought a Tudor 7928 Submariner. The movement is inscribed 390. I was tinkering with it and it does not quick set?
Are Tudor 7928 submariners quick sets or not? |

Did not realize it until I got it and was surprised to see it was not a quickset. |

As mentioned by Stan should not have a date function. Got any pics?

Aww crap, my speed read blitz of the topics. Yeah the 7928 didn't have a date. I was thinking 9411.

You're right. Come to think of it, this is the first non-date Rolex I've had so I've gotten use to a quick set. Thanks for putting sense to all of this. I will post pics next. My first vintage. |

The 390 does not hack! It is a Fleurier automatic movement dating from the 50ies used in the 7928 until the mid 60ies, before Tudor started to use ETA movements. Like the 1030 and the 1520/30/early 60 Rolex movements, there was no hacking function.
