Luminor straps on radiomir

Don't really like how the rads start really wide, know the luminor and the rads have different lug widths but I read somewhere that if you take out the spacer and use plastic pen tube to secure the arm bars it will make it smaller and you can use the luminor straps. Just seems that the arm won't line up in the screw holes.
