Using Chronograph and/or Dive Watch Bezel
I see alot of stuff here from some respected (as they all are) TRFers who say functionality of some watches (chronographs/dive watches) is wasted on us. It implies something I don't agree with.
I do use timers all the time. Now that I have a 114060 (and naturally enough, I can not take it off) I do miss the chrono on my speedie. It is summer here and BBQing I need it? Plus I need it for all sorts of other stuff. (Not diving yet and in all honesty, seldom generally). I use the Bezel timer in its (the Chronos) stead and i get something out of that too. I could poke my head indoors when i start something, then check later. But i tend to assume i will remember what I in fact do not. Sometimes the watch bezel or chrono reminds me i was monitoring something. The "alarm" that makes me recall timing something is the beauty of the watch, which has me looking at it every few minutes regardless of what I am dreaming of. Good system huh. I'm selling them to myself! |

There are always multiple uses for complications!
