Yup, when I lived in NYC I used to see those guys all the time. It's impressive in person. A few years ago I purchased a painting from a guy who was down and out. Needless to say, his art work was that if a 3 year old (like stick figures and all). I paid him and told him to keep the art for another. Over a drink, a friend scolded me, telling me that I should have took the painting.

Probably I would have done the same . . . if we can help someone . . . and in this way twice . . .
