Never had a problem with my Daytona or any of my Rolexes, and can't imaging how frustrating it must be for you. :banghead

Imho yours is the one in a million, hope you get it back in good time it and you can start wearing and enjoying your Daytona like it was meant to be.

Edit; Been giving my watches regular hand winds since discovering TRF.

Yes I spoke to them today they reckon the fault has been fixed but they are keeping it for a couple of days for more testing.

Well first that would depend on by how much you wound up the movement to start it and by how active you was in the day.Now if you gave your watch a full manual wind say 60 full crown turns clockwise. Then worn watch for say over 8 hours a day with reasonable wrist activity, and it stopped by morning then yes you might have a problem.

I don't know if this is a common fault with a Daytona.

Have you tried a search?

My one doesn't do that so there is one good example.

I've got a 16523 and 116523 and both have pretty good power reserve. I didn't time the exact amount but they've never stopped unless they were left unworn for more than a few days.

FYI: I wear my Daytona on Sundays and Tuesdays. I wind it 50 times or so Sunday morning then wear it all day. Put it to bed and its still running on Tuesday morning. I do not let the chronograph run unless Im using it. By Sunday it needs wound again.
