Eastwood-associated items vary greatly depending on which creative period on his life was involved. Witness the recent rise, then drop in the value of Eastwood-associated wooden chairs. I still think getting a qualified restoration center involved makes the most sense, fibers get damaged and core-cohesion may be affected by careless handling designed more to enhance function than to preserve the vintage character of the piece.
