Were many of those wealthy people who just happened to have $$$$$$$$$$ only 18 years old?

I like it Dino! But as others said, the price is too steep for me. I would rather have several watches and some handbags shoes etc etc but it looks great on him nevertheless!

Two amazing Rolex references! Makes me miss my 18946 a tad, however, it is in good home and allowed me to fund my second Patek almost two years ago! Looks great on your friend nephew!

Pardon the poor pic, that's from my old mobile phone!

Gone but not forgotten!

Well, this young 22 yr old Russian lady bought an $88m apartment, and Bernie Eccelstone's 22 yr old daughter spent $150m on the Spelling mansion ...

Some people are indeed fabulously wealthy

Too much bling and labels for me...

Tell him not to drive with his thumb in the steering wheel rim, bad practise

For that cash I'd get myself a small fishing boat & head off to the Med, any change & I'd rather have Dino's watch..and he can keep the ring, I'd only lose the stones when doing the washing up

Hey, accce. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder my friend. Whether you think this watch is worth 103k GBP is irrelevant. The fact is, Rolex market it as such and clearly it sells (at a big discount im sure, but they still get their 6 figure MSRP flagship).

Try not to be a hater bro, some people are born lucky, some people work damn hard to buy this sort of stuff. if you can't handle it, I suggest you hang out at g-shock.com instead.

You can...I know someone who drove a G55 AMG when he was 17 and a friend of a friend got a CL63 AMG for his 18th birthday.

Plus all the footballers that age drive round in exotica.

Fair play to him. At that age with that money I'd have probably gone the diamond route as well.

I'm more interested in the Gucci jacket. That does look nice from the snippets shown.

This shows more about you than it does about the person in question.

To the OP: thank you for sharing these pictures. Nice watches. Hope you both wear them in good health.

Aesthetically your watch wins hands down Dino.
For a £103,000 though I'd have your watch and an Aston Martin DB9.
Doubly cool!

I think Dino and his friend are just trying to fly under the radar in that VW. Don't want to attract a lot of attention when you are wearing those expensive watches. There are a lot of thieves out there looking for expensive watches and jewelry.
