Finally! My first Rolex!

Hey Gang!

As you all know by now I've been holding a torch for a GMT IIc. After protracted negotiation that'd have tested the patience af Arafat/Netanyahu (?sp), and a near botched electronic transfer....It's finally on my skin! Nearly drove off the road starin at it all the time Without further ado>>>

PS. You all are just the best bunch of cats!! Much love to you all (I think that's the Rollie speakin)

Jos,

Just from the GMT to another GMT owner. You will be so inloved with your new watch that you won't want any other ROLEX model for a long time.

Hey Alex, in that case, can I have your Daytona since you don't want it?

Jos, congratulations! It's a beautiful watch! How long did you have to wait to get it?

I said for a long time. Beside, that Daytona belonges to my four year old son now. It is just my only dream watch. But, GMT is my beloved watch and every day wearer.

Awesome! Those are cell phone pics? Man, I really feel bad about my pictures!

Glad you finally were able to get the watch. I've had it for one day now, and love it. Congratulations! You were a big help in me getting one so thank you.

Hey Crim! Now that you're in the club (skinny wrist hammer throwers, that is, I'm up for President this year!) isn't it time you let us on to your name, hehe! I Haven't seen you pics, did you post them? Yes, the cell phone held up pretty well this time didn't it... Lemme just say I know how you feel!

Well I saw it in the AD 3 weeks back, said I'd take it...then the mini-saga began with a deposit to secure, loan for the balance. Nealy lost the baby to a tourist with $$$ in Cape Town. So 3 27 sleeps later it's mine Thanks dude!

Congrats, man! Wear it in good health - I'm sure it feels better getting it after a struggle

I was actually in Cape Town about 9 years ago - very beautiful, and Kruger Safari Park was awesome!
