I've seen those shots on the site, but I'm having trouble connecting those shots to a Daytona, real or perceived.

....there's no denying the fact that Rolex has been introducing larger watches over last several years....DSSD, Sky Dweller, Explorers, etc, etc.....IMO a 42mm SS with ceramic bezel would = HOME RUN for Rolex...and pretty sure when (and if) we see pics the salivating here will begin.....

Just hoping I don't have to wait several years for a 42mm SS daytona to show up on the scene....my $.02

Brown ceramic bezel. Hopefully it stay at 40mm...

Hmmm..... Very interesting. I will save my opinion on if I like it or not until I actually see one. When the sky dweller first came out I was not a fan but to be honest it has really grown in me over the year.

I know a lot of you would be upset to see a 42 mm Daytona but you could always buy a pre loved 40mm pretty easily. Or new old stock from an AD.

Well its a bit late for a 50 year Anniversary Daytona, the Daytona as we know it was first introduced in 1960 so perhaps it will be a 53 year Anniversary,but again perhaps pigs will start to fly..

I guess anniversaries can be what companies or people want them to be. For instance, Omega seemed to get good mileage out of the recent Bond anniversary, despite their own involvement in the franchise being somewhat less than the anniversary. Marketing can magic anything it wants out of its hat...!

As the current version's actual diameter is 38.65 mm, 42 mm would be quite a jump in size. I can't see the subdial arrangement of the 4130 working well with that increase. But we'll find out in less than a day...
